2025 Points for Non-Club Events

  • Outside events must be sanctioned by a governing body of golf where the rules of golf are in effect.

  •  Categories are:

    • One-day events include but are not limited to, SCGA One Day Series, one-day qualifiers, City or County Championships.

    • Multi-day events include but are not limited to, most City and County Championships, State and National Championships, Team championships.

    • In case of Team Championships, all team members will receive full points.

  • WD, DNF, and DQ will not receive points.

  • Scrambles will not receive points.

  •  These points were added to promote and represent the spirit of GCLA on a larger stage, and encourage Championship golf everywhere.

  • Points will only be awarded for the regular season, not LA Cup Playoffs.
